More Dragonfish Brands Are On The Move

Back in March we told you that Tau Affiliates were offloading all their Broadway Gaming (previously Dragonfish) brands. This, we believe, meant that the likes of Quality Bingo, Blighty Bingo, Yay Bingo, Mint Bingo, Hunky Bingo and Bonnie Bingo didn't close to player but instead moved under the ownership of Broadway Gaming. However changes to the platform haven't ended as today Maxi Affiliates who have looked after the likes of Chit Chat Bingo, Pink Ribbon Bingo, Loadsa Bingo and Love Heart Bingo others for several years now amongst have announced that changes are afoot with themselves and Dragonfish.
The End Of A Partnership
Maxi Affiliates have pulled few punches when it comes to announcing the forthcoming changes. As of Monday 6th May 2024 the following brands will no longer be accepting new players on the Broadway Gaming platform: Jazzy Spins, UK Bingo, Chit Chat Bingo, Bingo Ireland, Pink Ribbon Bingo, BingoZino, Bid Bingo, LoveHearts Bingo, Loadsa Bingo and Bingo Barmy. Maxi explaom that this is because Broadway no longer wish to continue the partnership and that an eight year relationship will be dissolved in just 25 days time After May 28th 2024 Maxi Affiliates will no longer permitted to run their own brands or hold a license within the Broadway Gaming environment. The last day during which players can still play and deposit is the 28th May 2024. However this isn't the end for Maxi or for their bingo brands.
New Beginnings
Instead of handing over their portfolio of bingo sites to Broadway Gaming as Tau Affiliates did, Maxi intend to re-open some or all of their sites on new platforms. This means we could well see an all new Chit Chat Bingo, Bid Bingo and Bingo Barmy. If Chit Chat do reopen then we think it'll set some kind of record for a brand being active on so many different platforms! Maxi also don't intend to hang around and have revealed that they intend to re-open their brands on new platforms as soon as possible after the end of their time on Dragonfish. If you're a player on these brands then do note that old accounts will not be transferred so you may need to start withdrawing any funds ASAP. In essence the new site launches will be akin to starting a brand from scratch - and that's not an easy task in the current climate.
A Jump To Jumpman?
In our view the most likely destination for Maxi's band of bingo brands is the Jumpman platform. Mainly because it's the main (only?) destination for white label bingo sites and it should be fairly quick and simple to get things onboarded. For bingo players that's potentially not a good thing because Jumpman comes with high wagering terms on bonuses, limited bingo offers, withdrawal costs and a huge slots bias. As the bingo on Jumpman brands is powered by Pragmatic Play we'd guess that that may also see the end of Maxi's exclusive Royal Room. That said a new beginning, possibly coupled with a desire to sock it to Broadway Gaming for dumping them, could see some much needed oomph added to the likes of Pink Ribbon and Chit Chat. On Broadway these brands, and indeed every other brand, has stagnated since the platform was purchased from 888. A chance to start anew might just work for the best.
